Im always quite open with my life and what's happening in it, and I would inevitably yap about this situation on stream and potentially misrepresent the situation. Which is why I thought it would be best if i make an official statement to try and a.void any misunderstandings, and to let you all know my plans for the future.
Let me start off by thanking Shopify for everything they did for me and for the team. I ha.ve nothing bad to say about the org, they go above and beyond for their teams and players and if you ever get a chance to work with them, I highly recommend you do so.

As much as I believe in the individual talents of the players, my chemistry with a key member of the team was too mismatched to make it work, and it felt like it's getting worse and worse as time goes on. Despite that I still believe every single one of my teammates is an extremely skilled dota player and they all tried their best to make the team work the best way they knew how. I especially wanna highlight Yopaj who has been nothing but incredible in-game and outside of it and I’m very grateful to ha.ve been his teammate.

During my almost two years on this team I ha.ve grown a lot both as a player and a person and I am very thankful for that.

As for why it didnt work out:

I feel what happened was that I found it very difficult and stressful working together on improving and growing as a team. From my POV, it often felt like my voice and opinions were met with backlash and ultimately caused more harm than good. This made me realise that it wasn't a good fit. I didn’t feel capable of being a player and a teammate I know I can be. Which is neither good for me, nor the team. This honestly really doesn't matter that much if you're playing the NA qualifiers but it is not an attitude that can win you TI . I would rather choose to do what I believe is right for me, than to mindlessly follow something that is not.

Most of the players on the team are very young and from my time playing with them I truly believe they ha.ve a promising career ahead of them and I wish them the best of luck. I also hope that with a new offlaner the team can become more uniform and play better than they ever could with me.


As for myself, my future remains uncertain.

I feel like I've lost myself a bit and went too far from who I really am and what makes me want to compete. I want to be the best. And I feel like the correct route to get there is using this time to take a step back, regain my passion, and come back stronger.

...In reality it means I will take a break for a bit and then im back to streaming (twitch.tv/saberlight00), destroying pubs, and hopefully standing in if anyone calls upon me.
Thanks to all the fans that ha.ve been supporting me through the ups and now the downs, I genuinely believe that this is for the best and im quite optimistic and excited for what the future holds.
