헝가리는 경사가 났고 인도공군은 애사가 났네요. 헝가리가 리스한 14대의 그리펜중 5대가 공급되었다고 합니다. 3월 30일 인수행사가 있을 예정이고 2007년까지 12월까지 14대 모두를 인도하게 됩니다. 수출을 위해서 상당히 노력하고 있는데 남아공에 수출되었을뿐 헝가리와 체코는 14대씩 리스하는 것으로 끝났습니다. 리스의 형식이지만 10년간 1대당 5,500만 달러 수준의 리스라는걸 감안하면 10년간 사용한 후 저렴한 비용에 리스기간을 늘리거나 비용을 조금 더 지불한 후 구매할것 같습니다. 인도에서 또 항공기 사고가 났네요. "The aircraft crashed near Uttarlai village in Barmer district at 3.35 p.m. in an open field. The names of the pilots, who have died in the incident are yet to be verified," the IAF spokesperson, Wing Commander M Upasani, told The Tribune here. He said, the fighter was on a routine flying-training mission when it crashed soon after getting airborne. Though the MiG-21 is a single-seater fighter, the plane which crashed was carrying two pilots as it was a trainer version, he said. The bodies of the pilots were found near the crash site by rescue helicopters. "So far no damage has been reported on the ground as the fighter crashed in an open area", he said. The IAF has ordered a court of inquiry to find out the cause of the accident. "A team of the Directorate of Flight Safety has already left for the scene of the incident to conduct the inquiry," he said. The five (5) Gripen multi-role fighters, the latest C and D versions of the aircraft, are the first of fourteen (14) ordered by Hungary. The aircraft were flown by four pilots from the Hungarian Air Force and three from the Swedish Air Force. The flight, which departed from FMV´s facility outside Linköping, lasted for about two hours. “The flight went very well. The Gripen aircraft was easy to handle and everything functioned perfectly”, said Hungarian Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Gabor Toth after landing at the Kecskémet air base in Hungary, where the Gripens will be based. The remaining nine (9) Gripen aircraft will be delivered to Hungary progressively until December 2007. The Gripen aircraft will now undergo inspection by the Hungarian Ministry of Defence before they are formally handed over to the customer at a ceremony being held on 30 March 2006. The first groups of Hungarian pilots and technicians, who have been undergoing training in Sweden since January 2005, have completed their training and are back in Hungary. Hungary is the third nation, after Sweden and the Czech Republic, to operate the fourth generation Gripen fighter.
