When you see and hear "PIN HIM!" stand near your fallen opponent and QUICKLY enter the corresponding buttons to execute your character's Fatal. I've yet to get the proper requirements for Fatals as of this page's last update, but apparently, it may be done when you wait for your character to automatically go in to pin the fallen opponent THEN quickly enter the buttons.
